Message from the Committee
The members of the Mansfield School Committee each are elected for three-year terms and are directly responsible to the citizens of our town—and therefore, work on behalf of all townspeople. While the School Committee has budgetary and policy-making authority, the Superintendent is charged with the day-to-day administration and oversight of the Mansfield Public Schools.
Our purpose is to oversee the process and advocate for each of our students to give them the very best education possible. We are committed to excellence in education, while working within the strict boundaries which frame public education. We are proud of our students, schools, and those who work with us to educate and inspire our children.
We welcome your thoughts, constructive comments, questions and suggestions, and invite you to contact us via email regarding our public schools.
Please be aware that any email sent to the Mansfield School Committee will be received by all members, and according to the Massachusetts Public Records Law is considered public record and may be subject to disclosure under said law.
